  • Before You Begin

    2026 Participant Registration
    • FREE to be a Participant!
    • Participants MUST bring their own tent (maximum of two 10x10 tents), tables and chairs unless other arrangements have bene made.
    • If your tent is bigger than 20x20, please contact info@hawaiicyd.org for special arrangements. This makes it easier to accomodate the necessary space on the event grounds.
    • Participants MUST have an interactive activity for keiki to engage in. If you do not include your interactive activity during registration, a CYD representative will contact you.

    Please make sure to read ALL Rules & Regulations at the end of youre registration before signing.

    NOTE: Should CYD be able to secure sponsorship to provide tents, tables and chairs, we will inform you that your tent, tables and chairs will not be required, depending on the amount of sponsorship received.

  • Participants/exhibitors shall comply with these and other rules and regulations including those by the State of Hawai’i and the City and County of Honolulu who we have a permit with to host this event. Event Administrator reserves the right to make reasonable changes. Participants will have prior notice when possible.

    • Display items may not protrude from booth area without permission
    • Participants/exhibitors may not freely help themselves to other exhibitor booths set up including tables, chairs, space, etc.
    • Upon completion of the event, any and all CYD assigned or issued inventory must be returned or you will be charged for the cost of the missing equipment; price will be determined by retail cost
    • Flammables are not allowed under any circumstances
    • Organizations wishing to share booth space may do so however prior permission must be obtained
    • Participants/exhibitors may not sell food, beverage or other items at their booth
    • Participants/exhibitors may not solicit donations at their booth
    • Use of slides, video, and audio are allowed at or below “conversational” levels. Use of audio/visual or other devices may be restricted if deemed inappropriate
    • Banners and signs are allowed off of your table fronting your space only. Banners other than the event banners will be refused in other locations
    • State of Hawai’i, the City and County of Honolulu, Kama‘aina Kids, Pacific American Foundation, the Children and Youth Day Planning Committee and its sponsors will not be held liable for damages, loss or theft of property of the exhibitor, their staff, employees, visitors or guests
    • You must secure all items at all times. Booth must be attended for the entire length of the event • Participants/exhibitors give full right and permission to State of Hawai’i, the City and County of Honolulu, the Children and Youth Day Planning Committee and event sponsors to use their likeness, voice and/or name; photographed, taped, recorded or otherwise memorialized
    • All exhibits MUST have hands-on, interactive activities
    • While Children and Youth Day Chair and Administrator will do their best to locate you in the area orginally assigned, we do reserve the right to make any changes based on availability and other important logistical factors
    • BALLOONS are not allowed due to being a safety and environmental hazard

    We have read and understand the information contained on this application sheet. We will comply with all requirements that pertain to our organization. We will not hold the State of Hawai’i, the City and County of Honolulu, Pacific American Foundation, Kama‘aina Kids, the Children and Youth Day Planning Committee or event sponsors nor any of their employees, volunteers, or representatives responsible for any personal injury, property damages or loss incurred at this event. By registering I acknowledge acceptance of all rules and regulations contained herein.

    • Participants bring their own equipment and supplies, including tables, mats (if on the ground), tables, chairs, etc. Sorry, CYD does not provide any tents, tables or chairs for the event
    • Participants must have an interactive activity for keiki to engage in
    • There is no fee to be a Participant this year, although we are limiting the amount of Participant Booths on a first come first served basis
    • Electricity is not available although you can email info@hawaiicyd.org if you wish to provide your own generator
  • CYD Orientation

    Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2026
    Tiime: 12pm-1:30pm
    Location: Mission Memorial Auditorium (tentative)

    A mandatory orientation is required for all Participants and Volunteers (optional for Entertainers and Food Vendors). The one-hour and 30 minute orientation covers essential information that everyone needs to be aware of for set-up and event-day logistics. If you are unable to attend, please make sure to send a representative.

    An email reminder will be sent out prior to the orientation.
